5 Must-Have Products for Home Cleaning

Having options is always a good thing, but sometimes it can be a bit much, especially when it comes to cleaning products.  Does this “all in one” really work?  Will this glass cleaner cause streaks?  What’s a person to do when there are 10 varieties of each thing; how will you know which works?  Wonder no more, because we’ve pegged five products that actually work in the way that they say they will!

1. Pledge Multi-Surface Clean and Dust Wipes: One of the more truly innovative inventions when it comes to home cleaning products is one that can be used for multiple purposes!  Minimizing the need for three products down to one is to any cleaners benefit.  These multi-surface wipes can get the dust from a table, wipe down a computer screen, and is even okay for use on metal.  Now that’s what I’d call multitasking!

2. Clorox Clean-Up with Bleach: This handy product also works multiple functions, able to clean the kitchen and bathroom.  Get unsightly spots and stains from the bathroom as well as spills from the kitchen.  Bacteria is no match for this product!

3. Lysol Cling Gel Toilet Bowl Cleaner: A spic and span toilet is key to any bathroom, so squeeze some of this in and walk away to let it work!  For the tougher stains, a bit of scrubbing may be in order.  Rest assured that now you will have a much more sightly, fresh, and appealing bathroom!

4. Carpet Fresh No-Vacuum Foam Carpet Refresher: Getting the carpet to look fresh and new can be such a chore!  Not anymore with this no-vacuum formula!  Just apply and let it dry, carpet should be spiffy and perked up in no time, almost like new.  Can’t get much more handy than that!

5. Murphy Oil Soap: For those who have hardwood floors instead of carpet, Murphy Oil soap will be your best bet in the fight to keep those floors shiny and beautiful.  It also works well on wood furniture, particularly the easy to carry kind in the spray bottle.

At home mixologists can really whip up their own cleaners with a little know how.  Ordinary household products such as baking soda, lemon juice, club soda, and white vinegar can all be mixed in different combos or used alone to clean many stains.
